Back to school and micheal is back to his goofy self :) Term 3 we started the first week with a frown, why you may ask well it involves 3 laps of the school, CROSS COUNTRY! but it was good for Mr Creigh-Smith because everyone had cheered so much that our voices had gone!!!

After cross country we were all ready for work. so work we have been starting to write a story about a psychedelic zoo

Term 2 has just began and we are off to an exciting start some of us probably rather be at home but a lot of us can't wait for some of our new experiences and we look foward to achieving our goals. the worst part about school is being stuck inside because of the weather.

A Full On Start

To start 2013 in room 7 so far this term we have played 4 soft ball games winning one losing two and drawing  one. So the odds of us winning the trophy for soft ball are stacked against us.

That was the bad news but the good news is five of our class mates who are possible house captains have had the opportunity to host the assembly’s.

Sadly our bush trip was cancelled but they have tried again on another date.

We have also been doing some report writing on butterflies. We talked about report features and then wrote one of our own on butterflies.

We have also started extension. Some of the extension classes are cooking, materials, ICT and art. We have also had a lot of testing. Some of the tests were spelling, computation, basic facts, and essential skills.

Last week also had swimming sports. About half the class went out and participated, and out of all the houses Hobson won.

On the day of swimming sports we had a fire drill it was going for 45 minutes non-stop. On Friday Mr Thompson told us how the fire drill went off, it was two people who turned it on and when everyone was out on the field they stole the office ladies belongings.

First Day Back!!!

Welcome Back to School!!!

First day back and we are made to do work!!! we learned about how to set achievable goals. Then we listened to Mr Creigh-Smith talk and talk and talk, about class room expectations, until we had a syndicate meeting about what we can achieve this year as well as all the trophy's we can get at the end of this year. Once that was over we came back to finish our goals and to start our heritage posters, which will soon be on the blog.
